Stars want adoptions to stay in KoreaKorea is no longer a struggling poor developing country where the young and innocent are sent off to countries around the world for the hopes of a better life. Now, the Korean government is campaigning to keep adoptions within the motherland. Winners at the 6th Korean Film AwardsThe film (Secret Sunshine) directed by Lee Chang-dong has won four prizes in the sixth Korean Film Awards. In downtown Seoul Saturday, the film earned top honors for best film, best directing and best leading actor and actress. The award for the best supporting actor went to Sung Ji-ru for (Paradise Murdered) and that for best actress went to Gong Hyo-jin for (Happiness).
